During the summer, Keats is always a very active place, because there are many young students who use their summer vacations to come to Keats and improve their Chinese; many parents also come with their children to study Chinese.  It makes us very happy that many previous students have decided to return this year.

This is the second time the American student Andrew, the Czech student Nicola and the Canadian student Nathan have come, after their first experience, this summer they finally had an opportunity to return and continue studying.  Not only do people come themselves, but they also bring other people.  Kelly, from America, came the first time this year with her daughter Chloe for two weeks, and because of her great experience, in the summer came back with her husband and other two children. 

Some students come back many times, such as Xavier from Switzerland, and Isi from Spain. This is Xavier’s third time back, and Isi’s sixth time.  They always bring teachers gifts when they come. Candies and Chocolates are teachers’ favorites.

Xavier told us, he first heard about Keats from a friend, but because he liked his classes, because of the excellent teachers at Keats, and because he made many good friends, such as Isi, he kept coming back.  He didn’t expect when this time he came back to Keats, he would get to meet his old friend again.  He said, “I discovered besides going to class every day, I go to a nearby gym to exercise, and in the weekends I have time with other students to go traveling to nearby places.  Talking to the other students, I can learn about many other interesting cultures, experiences, and stories.”  He also said, if he had the opportunity, he would definitely come back every year to keep studying.

We always welcome our old friends back, and also look forward to adding many new faces to the Keats family.
