Kunming Keats School has been taking efforts in researching the newest teaching methods and teaching contents to improve teachers’ skills of giving Mandarin Chinese classes to foreign students who come to learn Chinese in China. In every teaching stage, Kunming Keats School will create many new ways of teaching, which shows Keats School ’s continuous efforts of providing the best intensive Chinese courses to foreign learners.
Recently, Kunming Keats School has established a new teaching orientation, which is enhancing foreign students’ ability of Chinese communication. We are not only trying to help students know Chinese, and we also effort to help student talk with real Chinese in a correct way in any kinds of occasion.
The biggest discovery of our research is that the basics of communicative skills. Language is the foundation of learners’ communicative skills, ad it is also the premise and condition of communicating. Thus, language forms the most important part in improving students’ communicative skills. The second element of a good master of communicative skills is language ability, which means you should know a way of expressing in the language you are learning. The third condition is student’s personal comprehensive ability. To sum up, Language, language ability and student’s personal comprehensive ability are three major parts to improve communicative skills.
