Jeg har hatt en fantastisk tid på Keats. Jeg er overrasket over hvor mye jeg har lært de siste tre ukene, og jeg kommer til å bli veldig lei meg for å dra. Vi planlegger allerede vår neste tur tilbake, fordi vi hadde en så fantastisk tid her. De skreddersyr virkelig kinesiskkurset til deg og dine individuelle behov.
Det spiller ingen rolle hvilket nivå du har i kinesisk, eller du kan starte på nullnivå. Læreren din vil forberede timene i henhold til dine behov. Fordelen med å bo på skolen er at du får privatundervisning, privat innkvartering med eget bad og alle måltider er inkludert. Jeg anbefaler på det sterkeste alle å ta hele pakken, fordi du får møte andre studenter.
Kunming er et flott sted å lære kinesisk i Kina fordi ikke mange kinesere på gaten snakker engelsk. Keats har vært en flott skole for meg, og mange andre utlendinger som studerte i Kina anbefalte det til meg. Jeg synes de er helt greie. Studiemetoden her er veldig strukturert. De gjør det veldig enkelt å lære kinesisk. Det er også mange kulturelle og naturlige steder å besøke.
Jeg har studert ved Keats i to semestre. Jeg anbefaler Keats School på det sterkeste. Hvis du er veldig interessert i å ta et mandarinkurs i Kina, vil jeg foreslå at du kommer til Kunming. Folket i Kunming er veldig vennlige. Været i Kunming er flott. Så jeg anbefaler at du studerer kinesisk ved Keats i Kunming.
De bryr seg virkelig om hva interessene våre er, hvilke spørsmål vi har og hvilke krav vi har. Så justerer de innholdet i det kinesiske språkprogrammet vårt etter situasjonen. Én lærer og én elev, så det er enkelt å holde fokuset i løpet av de 6 timene med mandarin-undervisning. Det er veldig praktisk å studere, bo og spise i én bygning.
Det beste med skolen er tålmodigheten instruktørene hadde og tiden de hadde til å fokusere på det grunnleggende som uttale. Jeg tror det er veldig lett å hoppe over disse og gå over til vokabular. Men ved å lære uttalen føler jeg at det hjalp meg å få en bedre forståelse av språket.
En ting jeg virkelig likte var at jeg kunne samarbeide med læreren min for å lage en individuell studieplan. En annen veldig fin ting er at du bor på skolen, du føler deg helt trygg. Du har alltid en gruppe mennesker som er villige til å gjøre ting sammen med deg i helgene eller om kveldene. De serverer deg alle tre måltidene om dagen, og maten var utmerket.
Jeg fant Keats School, og jeg er så glad for at jeg gjorde det. Når du lærer kinesisk i Kina på Keats, blir du tatt godt vare på. Læreren min er virkelig flott, og vi blir gode venner.
