Luftkvaliteten er flott, og været er godt. Folkene her er veldig vennlige. Jeg kommer for å ta kurs hver dag. Jeg føler meg komfortabel med å studere kinesisk på Keats. Jeg lærte så mye, selv om jeg bare studerte på Keats i to måneder. Jeg er veldig fornøyd med læreren min. For oss utlendinger er Keats den beste kinesiske skolen i Kina. Listening and speaking in the classroom every day has improved my communication skills. After three weeks, my new words and sentences became more and more natural and fluent. Now I am used to thinking in Chinese, and I understand better what other people say, to be able to have real conversations with other people.
De bryr seg virkelig om hva interessene våre er, hvilke spørsmål vi har og hvilke krav vi har. Så justerer de innholdet i det kinesiske språkprogrammet vårt etter situasjonen. Én lærer og én elev, så det er enkelt å holde fokuset i løpet av de 6 timene med mandarin-undervisning. Det er veldig praktisk å studere, bo og spise i én bygning.
Jeg har studert ved Keats i to semestre. Jeg anbefaler Keats School på det sterkeste. Hvis du er veldig interessert i å ta et mandarinkurs i Kina, vil jeg foreslå at du kommer til Kunming. Folket i Kunming er veldig vennlige. Været i Kunming er flott. Så jeg anbefaler at du studerer kinesisk ved Keats i Kunming.
Stedet er veldig kult. Jeg er sammen med en flott gruppe mennesker i klassen min, så det er veldig hyggelig å komme på timene. Det er gøy, vi har mange diskusjoner, spill og aktiviteter. Det har vært bemerkelsesverdig fordi jeg har møtt mange mennesker som jeg møtte første gang i fjor, og som liker at jeg kommer tilbake til Keats i år. Undervisningen har vært fantastisk. Lærerne forbereder hver leksjon nøye. Jeg synes denne en-til-en-tilnærmingen er en fin måte å raskt øke nivået ditt i kinesisk og øke selvtilliten og flyten din i språket.
Jeg synes det kinesiske læringsmiljøet her er flott. Undervisningsmetodene er også veldig interaktive og morsomme. Det jeg liker spesielt godt her er at læreren min ikke holder seg til læreboken. Vi bruker mye tid på å diskutere generelle emner, som kinesisk kultur, verdensnyheter og typiske uttrykk som brukes av lokalbefolkningen. Vi diskuterer også sosiale og økonomiske emner.
