Mitt første semester studerte jeg på en annen skole, og presset der var ganske høyt, timene i klasserommet var lange, og leksene var ganske kjedelige. Siden jeg kom til Keats, har jeg oppdaget at jeg har fått mange flere muligheter til å snakke i klasserommet. Alle klassekameratene mine snakker flytende og elsker å snakke og delta i timen. Vi har en flott dynamikk i klasserommet.
Lærerne på Keats vet hvordan de skal lese elevenes ord og hvordan de skal hjelpe dem med å lære kinesisk språk lett. De vet hvilket nivå elevene er på. Jeg er treg til å lære, men de klarte å tilpasse meg læringen min. De gjorde timen veldig morsom og spennende. Jeg er glad for at jeg ikke bare fikk lære kulturen og språket, men at jeg også fikk fantastiske venner, helt utrolige, kinesiske venner og europeiske venner, amerikanske venner, fra hele verden.
Jeg har studert ved Keats i to semestre. Jeg anbefaler Keats School på det sterkeste. Hvis du er veldig interessert i å ta et mandarinkurs i Kina, vil jeg foreslå at du kommer til Kunming. Folket i Kunming er veldig vennlige. Været i Kunming er flott. Så jeg anbefaler at du studerer kinesisk ved Keats i Kunming.
Mitt navn er Sarah Fish. Jeg er 81. Jeg kunne svært lite kinesisk da jeg kom. Hvordan skulle jeg overleve to uker med intensivt kinesiskkurs? Jeg må le når jeg tenker på det nå. Det beste med skolen er tålmodigheten instruktørene hadde og tiden de hadde til å fokusere på det grunnleggende som uttale. Jeg tror det er veldig lett å hoppe over disse og gå over til vokabular. Men ved å lære uttalen føler jeg at det hjalp meg å få en bedre forståelse av språket.
Alle klassekameratene mine ble sammen i ett år, og vi har blitt så mye bedre! Lærerne på Keats er alle veldig flinke. De liker å organisere mange aktiviteter for å hjelpe oss med å lære kinesisk. Jeg liker Keats! Jeg liker Kunming!
Kunming er en fantastisk by. Været her er flott. Skolen er utmerket. Instruktørene er veldig hjelpsomme og vennlige. Jeg anbefaler på det sterkeste at alle som leter etter en kinesisk språkskole i Kina kommer hit for å studere. Kunming og Keats skole er mye bedre enn noe annet sted.
