Alle klassekameratene mine ble sammen i ett år, og vi har blitt så mye bedre! Lærerne på Keats er alle veldig flinke. De liker å organisere mange aktiviteter for å hjelpe oss med å lære kinesisk. Jeg liker Keats! Jeg liker Kunming!
Å lytte og snakke i klasserommet hver dag har forbedret kommunikasjonsferdighetene mine. Etter tre uker ble de nye ordene og setningene mine mer og mer naturlige og flytende. Nå er jeg vant til å tenke på kinesisk, og jeg forstår bedre hva andre sier, slik at jeg kan ha ekte samtaler med andre mennesker.
En ting jeg virkelig likte var at jeg kunne samarbeide med læreren min for å lage en individuell studieplan. En annen veldig fin ting er at du bor på skolen, du føler deg helt trygg. Du har alltid en gruppe mennesker som er villige til å gjøre ting sammen med deg i helgene eller om kveldene. De serverer deg alle tre måltidene om dagen, og maten var utmerket.
Mitt første semester studerte jeg på en annen skole, og presset der var ganske høyt, timene i klasserommet var lange, og leksene var ganske kjedelige. Siden jeg kom til Keats, har jeg oppdaget at jeg har fått mange flere muligheter til å snakke i klasserommet. Alle klassekameratene mine snakker flytende og elsker å snakke og delta i timen. Vi har en flott dynamikk i klasserommet.
Visumsøknaden var veldig enkel, fordi Keats School hjelper oss mye med det. Keats legger stor vekt på samtaleøvelse, så vi lærer mye vokabular og dagliglivsplaner, noe som er veldig praktisk for oss å kunne reise rundt i byen og snakke med kinesere, og det er hele poenget med å lære kinesisk i Kina.
Jeg synes Keats er en av de beste språkskolene jeg noen gang har vært på. Læreren min er en så fantastisk person. Hun er så flink til å undervise. Hun gjør timene morsomme. Jeg har lært mye vokabular i løpet av tiden min her. Jeg vil virkelig anbefale å komme og lære mandarin-kinesisk på Keats School.
Når det gjelder å studere kinesisk her, synes jeg boforholdene er veldig praktiske fordi studenthjemmet ligger veldig nært klasserommet. Lærerne våre liker å undervise i kinesisk. De er også veldig lidenskapelige. Sammenlignet med andre byer i Kina har Kunming veldig bra vær.
Jeg fant Keats School, og jeg er så glad for at jeg gjorde det. Når du lærer kinesisk i Kina på Keats, blir du tatt godt vare på. Læreren min er virkelig flott, og vi blir gode venner.
