Jeg liker veldig godt å komme hit fordi det er som et slags hjem for meg. Det er et flott miljø for å lære mandarin-kinesisk i Kina og møte flotte mennesker fra hele verden. Alle her er ekstremt vennlige. Kunming har et veldig fint klima. Det er en veldig god blanding av den moderne byen og også mye historisk kinesisk kultur. Har sannsynligvis den reneste luften i Kina og muligens det reneste vannet også. Jeg inviterer deg til å komme og studere kinesisk i Kunming.
Jeg har hatt en fantastisk tid på Keats. Jeg er overrasket over hvor mye jeg har lært de siste tre ukene, og jeg kommer til å bli veldig lei meg for å dra. Det spiller ingen rolle hvilket nivå du har i kinesisk, eller du kan starte på nullnivå. Læreren din vil forberede timene i henhold til dine behov. Fordelen med å bo på skolen er at du får privatundervisning, privat innkvartering med eget bad og alle måltider er inkludert. Jeg anbefaler på det sterkeste alle å ta hele pakken, fordi du får møte andre studenter.
Å lytte og snakke i klasserommet hver dag har forbedret kommunikasjonsferdighetene mine. Etter tre uker ble de nye ordene og setningene mine mer og mer naturlige og flytende. Nå er jeg vant til å tenke på kinesisk, og jeg forstår bedre hva andre sier, slik at jeg kan ha ekte samtaler med andre mennesker.
Det har vært bemerkelsesverdig fordi jeg har møtt mange mennesker som jeg møtte første gang i fjor, og som liker at jeg kommer tilbake til Keats i år. Undervisningen har vært fantastisk. Lærerne forbereder hver leksjon nøye. Jeg synes denne en-til-en-tilnærmingen er en fin måte å raskt øke nivået ditt i kinesisk og øke selvtilliten og flyten din i språket.
Jeg synes Kunming er en flott by, været er veldig bra. Jeg liker Keats skole veldig godt og synes den er veldig organisert. Lærerne her er veldig flinke. De har en kafé og nye klasserom, og et nytt loungeområde her nå, slik at du kan slappe av med vennene dine og øve på kinesisk med morsmål. Hvis du vurderer å komme til Keats for å studere, vil jeg virkelig anbefale det. Det er det beste stedet å lære mandarin, og jeg tror det vil bli en flott opplevelse for deg.
Listening and speaking in the classroom every day has improved my communication skills. After three weeks, my new words and sentences became more and more natural and fluent. Now I am used to thinking in Chinese, and I understand better what other people say, to be able to have real conversations with other people.
