Sem podiplomski študent, ki dela doktorat na Univerzi Columbia. Ta kraj mi je res všeč, ker imamo zasebne ure mandarinščine. Obiskovala sem 6-urni program, 4 ure zjutraj in 2 popoldne. Čeprav je to precej veliko, je pouk brezplačen. To je zelo koristno, saj sem lahko ponovila, kaj sem počela prej, in se naučila novih stvari. Moja dva učitelja sta fantastična. Živimo v šoli, zato je priročno. Zame je zanimivo spoznavati ljudi z vsega sveta.
Kunming je fantastično mesto. Vreme je tukaj odlično. Šola je odlična. Inštruktorji so zelo ustrežljivi, zelo prijazni. Vsem, ki iščejo kitajsko jezikovno šolo na Kitajskem, toplo priporočam, da pridejo sem študirat. Kunming in Keatsova šola sta veliko boljša kot kateri koli drug kraj.
To je moj drugi obisk. Lani sem bil prav tako približno 12 tednov. Tokrat sem prišel na 13 tednov poletnega programa na Kitajskem. Razlog, zakaj si še posebej želim priti v to šolo, so individualni tečaji. Tako sem lahko izboljšal svojo raven in se kitajsko naučil hitreje kot v skupinskih tečajih. Če bom imel prihodnje leto spet priložnost priti, bom zagotovo prišel.
Ni pomembno, kakšno raven kitajščine imate, lahko začnete celo od ničelne ravni. Vaš učitelj bo pripravil lekcije glede na vaše zahteve. Prednost bivanja v šoli je, da boste imeli svoje inštrukcije, zasebno nastanitev z lastno kopalnico in vse obroke. Vsem toplo priporočam, da dejansko izkoristijo celoten paket, saj boste lahko spoznali druge učence.
Mislim, da je Kunming odlično mesto, vreme je res lepo. Šola Keats mi je zelo všeč in se mi zdi zelo organizirana. Učitelji tukaj so zelo dobri. Imajo kavarno in nove učilnice, zdaj je tu tudi nov prostor za druženje, tako da se lahko sprostite s prijatelji in vadite govorjeno kitajščino z domačini. Če razmišljate o študiju v Keatsu, vam ga res priporočam. To je najboljše mesto za učenje mandarinščine in mislim, da bo to za vas odlična izkušnja.
