Ouvir e falar na sala de aula todos os dias melhorou as minhas capacidades de comunicação. Ao fim de três semanas, o meu vocabulário e as minhas frases tornaram-se cada vez mais naturais e fluentes. Utilizamos muitos jogos para aprender gramática e novas palavras. Temos professores muito bons e pacientes. Ela ajuda-nos bastante. A nossa turma é ótima e temos alunos de todo o mundo, de diferentes países. Discutimos frequentemente assuntos em chinês na aula. Vivo no alojamento estudantil de Keats. É muito conveniente. Não tenho de perder tempo com deslocações. Posso concentrar-me apenas em aprender chinês.
Tem sido notável porque reencontrei muitas pessoas que conheci no ano passado e que, tal como eu, voltaram à Keats este ano. O ensino tem sido fantástico. Os professores preparam cada aula com muito cuidado. Penso que esta abordagem individualizada é realmente uma ótima maneira de aumentar rapidamente o nível de chinês e a confiança e fluência na língua.
Já frequentei a Escola Keats para aprender chinês quatro vezes. A principal razão para regressar a esta escola é que os professores com quem trabalhei eram excelentes professores de chinês. Planeio voltar a esta escola a cada cinco ou até dez anos. Todos os professores têm métodos eficazes para avaliar as suas competências e sabem exatamente em que nível se encontra. Não importa o seu nível de chinês, mesmo que não saiba nada. O seu professor preparará as aulas de acordo com as suas necessidades. A vantagem de viver na escola é que terá aulas particulares, alojamento privado com casa de banho própria e todas as refeições incluídas. No meu primeiro semestre noutra escola, a pressão era muito grande, as aulas eram longas e os trabalhos de casa eram bastante aborrecidos. Desde que entrei na Keats, tenho tido muito mais oportunidades de falar em sala de aula. Os meus colegas são todos fluentes e adoram falar e participar nas aulas. Temos uma ótima dinâmica na sala de aula.
No ano passado, comecei a estudar chinês na universidade. Vim para aqui porque estou a preparar-me para o exame HSK 5.
