Nedokážu vám ani říct, jak moc se mi to líbilo. Na učitelích a metodě výuky se mi líbila velká flexibilita. Další věc, která se mi na výuce líbila, byla kombinace klasického učení z učebnic a pobytu v přírodě. Milovala jsem to! Ráda poznávám ostatní studenty. Všichni sdíleli stejný cíl, a to zlepšit si čínštinu. Kunming je velké město, ale je zde velmi bezpečné žít. Další věc, která se mi na Keats líbila, je myšlenka, že vám lidé tady pomáhají. Nemohu to dostatečně doporučit. Myslím, že to byla cenná zkušenost. Těším se na návrat!
Jedna věc, která se mi opravdu líbila, byla možnost spolupracovat se svým učitelem na vytvoření individuálního studijního plánu. Další opravdu příjemná věc je, že bydlíte ve škole, cítíte se naprosto bezpečně. Vždycky máte skupinu lidí, kteří jsou ochotni s vámi něco dělat o víkendech nebo večer. Podávají vám všechna 3 jídla denně, jídlo bylo vynikající.
Už jsem byl čtyřikrát na škole Keats School, abych se učil čínštinu. Důvodem, proč se do této školy vracím, je to, že učitelé, se kterými jsem pracoval, byli velmi dobří učitelé čínštiny. Dělám si z toho pětiletý, nebo dokonce desetiletý plán, jak se do této školy vrátit. Všichni učitelé mají metody, jak zjistit, jaké jsou vaše dovednosti. Vědí, na jaké úrovni se nacházíte. Myslím, že to stojí za to pro každého.
V prvním semestru jsem studoval na jiné škole a tlak tam byl docela vysoký, hodiny ve třídě byly dlouhé a domácí úkoly dost únavné. Od doby, co jsem přišel na Keats, jsem zjistil, že mám mnohem více příležitostí mluvit ve třídě. Všichni moji spolužáci mluví plynně a rádi mluví a zapojují se do výuky. Máme skvělou dynamiku ve třídě.
Absolvoval(a) jsem individuální intenzivní kurz čínštiny 6 hodin denně. Lekce jsou velmi zajímavé. Učitelé jsou starostliví a obsah, který mě učí, je vhodný pro mou úroveň. Je to snadný způsob, jak se naučit mandarínštinu. Mám spoustu času na procvičování čínštiny ve třídě. Jídlo je zde skvělé. Díky tomuto programu v Keats jsem si zlepšil(a) čínštinu.
V intenzivním individuálním kurzu čínštiny si můžete vybrat metodu učení, která vám vyhovuje. Kurz čínštiny v malých skupinách v Číně v Keats se koná podle učebnice HSK. Učitelé často shromažďují zpětnou vazbu od studentů, naslouchají našim požadavkům a názorům. Měl jsem pocit, že moje ústní znalost je lepší než dříve.
Takže během mého prvního týdne v Keats jsem se neodvážil promluvit ani slovo čínsky. Zjistil jsem, že se moje úroveň čínštiny od té doby rychle zlepšila. Přestože mám v Číně mnoho možností studia, například některé jiné školy nabízejí ubytování v rodinách, zjistil jsem, že se pobytem v Keats můžu plně ponořit do učení čínštiny a soustředit se na něj.
Než jsem nastoupil do Keats School, nebyl jsem si jistý svou znalostí čínštiny. Neměl jsem sebevědomí mluvit mandarínskou čínštinou a povídat si s Číňany. Nicméně po 4 měsících studia na Keats School si nyní čínštinu stále více uvědomuji. Studium čínštiny v Číně na Keats School bylo nejlepší rozhodnutí, jaké jsem kdy udělal. Ve třídě je mnoho her a metody výuky mého učitele jsou také velmi zajímavé. Moje zkušenost na Keats School změnila můj pohled na Čínu a Číňany.
