Tôi đến Côn Minh vì tôi nghĩ môi trường ở Côn Minh tốt hơn và tôi nghe nói trường Keats tốt hơn. Tôi thích lớp học tiếng Trung nhóm nhỏ vì các bạn cùng lớp học chăm chỉ và các thầy cô giáo rất giỏi. Tôi thích phương pháp giảng dạy của trường Keats vì tôi thích các hoạt động ở trường. Tôi nghĩ Vân Nam là một tỉnh đặc biệt xinh đẹp của Trung Quốc.
Tôi là nghiên cứu sinh đang theo học tiến sĩ tại Đại học Columbia. Chúng tôi đã có thể tập trung vào kỹ năng nói, đặc biệt là kỹ năng nói trong phỏng vấn, và chúng tôi đã giúp tôi nâng cao đáng kể kỹ năng đọc và viết tiếng Trung, để khi quay lại Columbia, tôi có thể tham gia các lớp học tiếng Trung chính quy. Tuy nhiên, sau 4 tháng học tại Keats, tôi ngày càng tự tin hơn khi nói tiếng Trung. Học tiếng Trung tại trường Keats ở Trung Quốc là quyết định đúng đắn nhất mà tôi từng đưa ra. Lớp học có nhiều trò chơi, và phương pháp giảng dạy của giáo viên cũng rất thú vị. Trải nghiệm tại trường Keats đã thay đổi quan điểm của tôi về Trung Quốc và người Trung Quốc.
Tôi quyết định học tiếng Trung ở Côn Minh vì tôi thích những thành phố nhỏ và thích khí hậu ở đây. Chúng tôi học bốn tiếng mỗi ngày và cô giáo yêu quý của tôi đã dạy tôi rất nhiều điều và không bao giờ mất kiên nhẫn với tôi. Đó thực sự là một trải nghiệm tuyệt vời và tôi khuyên mọi người muốn học tiếng Trung ở Trung Quốc nên đến trường Keats và học với các thầy cô giáo ở đây.
Tôi nghĩ môi trường học tiếng Trung ở đây rất tuyệt. Phương pháp giảng dạy cũng rất tương tác và thú vị. Điều tôi đặc biệt thích ở đây là giáo viên của tôi không chỉ bám sát sách giáo khoa. Chúng tôi dành nhiều thời gian thảo luận về các chủ đề chung, chẳng hạn như văn hóa Trung Quốc, tin tức thế giới, các thành ngữ thông dụng của người dân địa phương. Chúng tôi cũng thảo luận về các vấn đề xã hội và kinh tế.
Tôi có 2 giáo viên, và tôi học 4 tiếng mỗi ngày. Tôi học với thầy Dong và thầy Jin. Cả hai thầy đều rất giỏi. Họ đã làm cho trải nghiệm học tập của tôi rất tuyệt vời. Họ luôn sẵn lòng giúp đỡ bạn bất cứ khi nào, vì vậy nếu bạn có bất kỳ câu hỏi nào ở đây, các giáo viên luôn sẵn sàng giúp bạn, cho dù đó là về visa hay về việc đi lại trong thành phố. Ai cũng muốn nói chuyện với bạn.
