Det bästa med skolan är lärarnas tålamod och tiden de tog att fokusera på grunderna som uttal. Jag tror att det är väldigt lätt att hoppa över dem och gå över till ordförrådet. Men genom att lära mig uttalet känner jag att det hjälpte mig att få en bättre förståelse för språket.
Jag kommer till Kunming eftersom jag tycker att miljön i Kunming är bättre och jag har hört att Keats School är bättre. Jag gillar den lilla kinesiska grupplektionen eftersom mina klasskamrater studerar hårt och våra lärare är väldigt bra. Jag gillar undervisningsmetoden på Keats eftersom jag gillar aktiviteterna på Keats. Jag tycker att Yunnan är en särskilt vacker kinesisk provins.
Jag tycker Kunming är en fantastisk stad, vädret är riktigt bra. Jag gillar verkligen Keats skola och tyckte att den är väldigt organiserad. Lärarna här är väldigt bra. De har ett kafé och nya klassrum, en ny lounge här nu, så att du kan koppla av med dina vänner och öva din talade kinesiska med infödda. Om du funderar på att komma till Keats för att studera, skulle jag verkligen rekommendera det. Det är det bästa stället att lära sig mandarin och jag tror att det kommer att bli en fantastisk upplevelse för dig.
Jag är en doktorand som arbetar med min doktorsexamen vid Columbia University. Vi kunde verkligen fokusera på att tala, särskilt intervjuliknande tal, och vi kunde verkligen förbättra mina kinesiska läs- och skrivfärdigheter, så när jag åker tillbaka till Columbia University kan jag ta formella kinesisklektioner. Min lärare är mycket bra, mycket omtänksam och trevlig. Mitt liv när jag studerar kinesiska i Kunming är mycket bra och vädret är mycket bra. Luften är mycket bra. Det är bra för äldres kroppar.

Lärarna samlar ofta in feedback från eleverna och lyssnar på våra krav och åsikter. Jag tyckte att min muntliga nivå är bättre än tidigare.

Så under min första vecka på Keats vågade jag inte tala några kinesiska ord. Jag upptäckte att min kinesiska nivå snabbt förbättrades sedan dess.
