Jag tycker verkligen om att studera kinesiska i Kunming på Keats. Lärarna är fantastiska och mina klasskamrater är fantastiska. Det är en oförglömlig upplevelse för mig. Jag fick också chansen att resa till andra platser i Yunnan. De platserna är fantastiska och du måste definitivt besöka dessa platser när du studerar kinesiska i Kina på Keats.
Jag tog den individuella intensivkursen i kinesiska sex timmar om dagen. Lektionerna är väldigt intressanta. Lärarna är omtänksamma och innehållet de lär mig passar min nivå. Sedan förra terminen började vi studera kinesiska på Keats. Det var det bästa valet vi någonsin kunde göra. Det är en riktigt bra skola. Lektionerna är jätteroliga, man lär sig mycket, men också väldigt interaktiva, så man pratar mycket vilket innebär att det inte bara handlar om böcker och skrivande. Kunming är en riktigt trevlig stad att bo i, särskilt om man jämför den med andra städer i öst. Om du gillar att resa, om du gillar att studera kinesiska på ett roligt sätt, har Keats det bästa kinesiska språkprogrammet för dig.
Jag har gått på Keats School för att lära mig kinesiska fyra gånger nu. Anledningen till att jag återvände till den här skolan är i stort sett att lärarna jag arbetade med var väldigt bra kinesisklärare. Jag har en 5-årsplan eller till och med en 10-årsplan för att komma tillbaka till den här skolan. Alla lärare har metoder för att se vilka färdigheter man har. De är medvetna om vilken nivå man befinner sig på. Jag tror att det är värt det för alla.
Så under min första vecka på Keats vågade jag inte tala några kinesiska ord. Jag upptäckte att min kinesiska nivå snabbt förbättrades sedan dess. Även om jag har många alternativ att studera i Kina, till exempel erbjuder vissa andra skolor hemvistelse, upptäckte jag att jag kunde fördjupa mig och helt fokusera på att lära mig kinesiska genom att bo på Keats.
De bryr sig verkligen om våra intressen, våra frågor och våra krav. Sedan anpassar de innehållet i vårt kinesiska språkprogram efter situationen. En lärare och en elev, så det är lätt att hålla fokus under de 6 timmarna av mandarin-lektioner. Det är väldigt bekvämt att studera, bo och äta i en och samma byggnad.
Att lyssna och tala i klassrummet varje dag har förbättrat mina kommunikationsförmågor. Efter tre veckor blev mina nya ord och meningar mer och mer naturliga och flytande. Nu är jag van vid att tänka på kinesiska, och jag förstår bättre vad andra säger, för att kunna ha riktiga samtal med andra människor.
Min skola är fantastisk. Jag rekommenderar Keats School eftersom det är ett bekvämare sätt att lära sig kinesiska i Kunming.
