Platsen är väldigt cool. Jag är med en fantastisk grupp människor i min klass, så det är väldigt trevligt att komma till lektionerna. Det är roligt, vi har många diskussioner, spel och aktiviteter. Jag tycker att den kinesiska lärmiljön här är fantastisk. Undervisningsmetoderna är också väldigt interaktiva och roliga. Jag gillar den lilla kinesiska grupplektionen eftersom mina klasskamrater studerar hårt och våra lärare är väldigt bra. Jag gillar undervisningsmetoden på Keats eftersom jag gillar aktiviteterna på Keats. Jag tycker att Yunnan är en särskilt vacker kinesisk provins.
Det bästa med skolan är lärarnas tålamod och tiden de tog att fokusera på grunderna som uttal. Jag tror att det är väldigt lätt att hoppa över dem och gå över till ordförrådet. Men genom att lära mig uttalet känner jag att det hjälpte mig att få en bättre förståelse för språket.
Min första termin gick jag på en annan skola, och pressen där var ganska hög, klassrumstiden var lång och läxorna ganska tråkiga. Sedan jag kom till Keats har jag upptäckt att jag har fått många fler möjligheter att tala i klassrummet. Mina klasskamrater talar flytande och älskar att tala och delta i lektionerna. Vi har en fantastisk dynamik i klassrummet.
Det spelar ingen roll vilken nivå du har i kinesiska, du kan börja från noll. Din lärare kommer att förbereda lektionerna efter dina behov. Fördelen med att bo på skolan är att du får handledning, privat boende med eget badrum och alla måltider ingår. Jag rekommenderar starkt alla att faktiskt ta hela paketet eftersom du får träffa andra studenter.
