Jag är en doktorand som arbetar med min doktorsexamen vid Columbia University. Vi kunde verkligen fokusera på att tala, särskilt intervjuliknande tal, och vi kunde verkligen förbättra mina kinesiska läs- och skrivfärdigheter, så när jag åker tillbaka till Columbia University kan jag ta formella kinesisklektioner. Jag har verkligen uppskattat kinesiskkursen i Kina på Keats och att träffa lärarna här och eleverna. Vi har jättekul i klassrummet. Det är en riktigt bra skola att lära sig på, med bra undervisningsmetoder och en riktigt bra lärobok, exempel och spel, och allt.
Jag tycker verkligen om att komma hit eftersom det är som ett slags hem för mig. Det är en fantastisk miljö att lära sig mandarin i Kina och träffa fantastiska människor från hela världen. Alla här är extremt vänliga. Kunming har ett riktigt trevligt klimat. Det är en mycket bra blandning av den moderna staden och även mycket historisk kinesisk kultur. Har förmodligen den renaste luften i Kina och möjligen det renaste vattnet också. Jag inbjuder dig att komma och studera kinesiska i Kunming.
Att lyssna och tala i klassrummet varje dag har förbättrat mina kommunikationsförmågor. Efter tre veckor blev mina nya ord och meningar mer och mer naturliga och flytande. Nu är jag van vid att tänka på kinesiska, och jag förstår bättre vad andra säger, för att kunna ha riktiga samtal med andra människor.
