Det är väldigt bekvämt att komma till Kunming från Thailand. Jag gillar verkligen mina kinesiskalektioner och min kinesiska förbättrades mycket på några månader. Det finns många fördelar med att lära sig kinesiska. Det bästa jag gillar med Keats är att det ligger i Kunming, en stad med evig vår. Det finns så mycket att se i Kunming och du kommer att älska den här staden när du har kommit dit.
En sak jag verkligen gillade var att jag kunde samarbeta med min lärare för att göra en individuell studieplan. En annan riktigt trevlig sak är att man bor på skolan, man känner sig helt trygg. Man har alltid en grupp människor som är villiga att göra saker med en på helgerna eller kvällarna. De serverar en alla tre måltider om dagen, maten var utmärkt.
Jag har haft en riktigt bra tid här. Jag har studerat mycket med min lärare som var fantastisk. Keats School försökte verkligen att matcha sina elever med riktigt bra lärare så att deras personligheter fungerar väldigt bra tillsammans. Jag tycker verkligen om att studera kinesiska på Keats och jag kommer definitivt tillbaka.
Alla lärare är verkligen underbara. Undervisningsnivån på Keats är så mycket högre. Jag älskar verkligen staden. Det är väldigt bekvämt att ta sig runt. Jag rekommenderar Keats varmt. Det är ett fantastiskt ställe att studera kinesiska i Kina. Vi ser fram emot att komma tillbaka igen senare i år.
Mitt namn är Sarah Fish. Jag är 81. Jag kunde väldigt lite kinesiska när jag kom. Hur skulle jag överleva två veckors intensiv kinesiskakurs? Jag måste skratta när jag tänker på det nu. Vilken positiv upplevelse det här har varit! Jag önskar verkligen att vi kunde vara här lite längre. Lärarna är oerhört uppmuntrande, de utvärderar först hur mycket någon kan och börjar sedan därifrån.
Så under min första vecka på Keats vågade jag inte tala några kinesiska ord. Jag upptäckte att min kinesiska nivå snabbt förbättrades sedan dess. Även om jag har många alternativ att studera i Kina, till exempel erbjuder vissa andra skolor hemvistelse, upptäckte jag att jag kunde fördjupa mig och helt fokusera på att lära mig kinesiska genom att bo på Keats.
Jag tycker att Keats är en av de bästa språkskolorna jag någonsin har varit på. Min lärare är en så fantastisk person. Hon är så bra på att undervisa. Hon gör lektionerna roliga. Jag har lärt mig mycket ordförråd under min tid här. Jag skulle verkligen rekommendera att komma och lära sig mandarin på Keats School.
Jag kan inte beskriva hur mycket jag gillade det. Det jag gillade med lärarna och undervisningsmetoden är att det finns så mycket flexibilitet. Det andra jag gillade med undervisningen är kombinationen av klassisk läroboksinlärning och att vara utomhus. Jag älskade det! Jag gillar att lära känna andra studenter. Alla hade samma mål och det är att förbättra deras kinesiska. Kunming är en stor stad, men det är väldigt tryggt att bo här. En annan sak jag gillade med Keats är tanken att folk här hjälper dig. Jag kan inte rekommendera det nog. Jag tycker att det var en värdefull upplevelse. Ser fram emot att komma tillbaka!
