Jag tyckte att Keats var väldigt bra, lärarna är utmärkta och tar verkligen eleverna på allvar. Kunming är det bästa stället att lära sig mandarin i Kina. Miljön är fantastisk, inga föroreningar. Luftkvaliteten är bra, vädret är bra. Människorna här är väldigt vänliga. Jag kommer för att ta lektioner varje dag. Jag känner mig bekväm med att studera kinesiska på Keats. Jag lärde mig så mycket, även om jag bara studerade på Keats i två månader. Jag är verkligen nöjd med min lärare. För oss utlänningar är Keats den bästa kinesiska skolan i Kina. Därför rekommenderar jag starkt Keats till er alla.
Visumansökan var väldigt enkel, eftersom Keats School hjälper oss mycket med det. Keats lägger stor vikt vid konversationsövning, så vi lär oss mycket ordförråd och vardagsplaner, vilket är väldigt bekvämt för oss att kunna åka runt i stan och prata med kineser, vilket är hela poängen med att lära sig kinesiska i Kina.
Jag trivs verkligen på det här stället eftersom vi har privatlektioner i mandarin. Jag tog 6-timmarsprogrammet, 4 timmar på morgonen och 2 på eftermiddagen. Även om det är ganska mycket är undervisningen gratis. Det här är väldigt hjälpsamt eftersom jag kan repetera vad jag gjort tidigare och lära mig nya saker. Mina två lärare är fantastiska. Vi bor i skolan, så det är bekvämt. Det är intressant för mig att träffa människor från hela världen.
Kunmings landskap är mycket vackert. Det är den bästa platsen att studera kinesiska i Kina. Min favoritinlärningsmetod på Keats School är individuell undervisning eftersom den passar alla. Min lärare är mycket bra, mycket omtänksam och trevlig. Mitt liv när jag studerar kinesiska i Kunming är mycket bra och vädret är mycket bra. Luften är mycket bra. Det är bra för äldres kroppar.
En sak jag verkligen gillade var att jag kunde samarbeta med min lärare för att göra en individuell studieplan. En annan riktigt trevlig sak är att man bor på skolan, man känner sig helt trygg. Man har alltid en grupp människor som är villiga att göra saker med en på helgerna eller kvällarna. De serverar en alla tre måltider om dagen, maten var utmärkt.
Så under min första vecka på Keats vågade jag inte tala några kinesiska ord. Jag upptäckte att min kinesiska nivå snabbt förbättrades sedan dess. Även om jag har många alternativ att studera i Kina, till exempel erbjuder vissa andra skolor hemvistelse, upptäckte jag att jag kunde fördjupa mig och helt fokusera på att lära mig kinesiska genom att bo på Keats.
Det bästa med skolan är lärarnas tålamod och tiden de tog att fokusera på grunderna som uttal. Jag tror att det är väldigt lätt att hoppa över dem och gå över till ordförrådet. Men genom att lära mig uttalet känner jag att det hjälpte mig att få en bättre förståelse för språket.
Det spelar ingen roll vilken nivå du har i kinesiska, du kan börja från noll. Din lärare kommer att förbereda lektionerna efter dina behov. Fördelen med att bo på skolan är att du får handledning, privat boende med eget badrum och alla måltider ingår. Jag rekommenderar starkt alla att faktiskt ta hela paketet eftersom du får träffa andra studenter.
