Det är väldigt bekvämt att komma till Kunming från Thailand. Jag gillar verkligen mina kinesiskalektioner och min kinesiska förbättrades mycket på några månader. Det finns många fördelar med att lära sig kinesiska. Det bästa jag gillar med Keats är att det ligger i Kunming, en stad med evig vår. Det finns så mycket att se i Kunming och du kommer att älska den här staden när du har kommit dit.
Kunmings landskap är mycket vackert. Det är den bästa platsen att studera kinesiska i Kina. Min favoritinlärningsmetod på Keats School är individuell undervisning eftersom den passar alla. Min lärare är mycket bra, mycket omtänksam och trevlig. Mitt liv när jag studerar kinesiska i Kunming är mycket bra och vädret är mycket bra. Luften är mycket bra. Det är bra för äldres kroppar.
Det här är andra gången jag kommer. Förra året var jag också där i ungefär 12 veckor. Den här gången var jag där i 13 veckor av ett sommarprogram i Kina. Anledningen till att jag särskilt gärna vill komma till den här skolan var på grund av de individuella lektionerna. Jag kunde höja min nivå och lära mig kinesiska snabbare än i gruppklasser. Om jag får chansen att komma igen nästa år kommer jag definitivt att göra det.
En sak jag verkligen gillade var att jag kunde samarbeta med min lärare för att göra en individuell studieplan. En annan riktigt trevlig sak är att man bor på skolan, man känner sig helt trygg. Man har alltid en grupp människor som är villiga att göra saker med en på helgerna eller kvällarna. De serverar en alla tre måltider om dagen, maten var utmärkt.
Jag tycker Kunming är en fantastisk stad, vädret är riktigt bra. Jag gillar verkligen Keats skola och tyckte att den är väldigt organiserad. Lärarna här är väldigt bra. De har ett kafé och nya klassrum, en ny lounge här nu, så att du kan koppla av med dina vänner och öva din talade kinesiska med infödda. Om du funderar på att komma till Keats för att studera, skulle jag verkligen rekommendera det. Det är det bästa stället att lära sig mandarin och jag tror att det kommer att bli en fantastisk upplevelse för dig.
Min första termin gick jag på en annan skola, och pressen där var ganska hög, klassrumstiden var lång och läxorna ganska tråkiga. Sedan jag kom till Keats har jag upptäckt att jag har fått många fler möjligheter att tala i klassrummet. Mina klasskamrater talar flytande och älskar att tala och delta i lektionerna. Vi har en fantastisk dynamik i klassrummet.
Jag tog den individuella intensivkursen i kinesiska sex timmar om dagen. Lektionerna är väldigt intressanta. Lärarna är omtänksamma och innehållet de lär mig passar min nivå. Det är ett enkelt sätt att lära sig mandarin. Jag har mycket tid över till att öva kinesiska i klassrummet. Maten är fantastisk här. Jag har förbättrat min kinesiska genom det här programmet på Keats.
Jag har två lärare och jag jobbar fyra timmar om dagen. Så jag har Dong Laoshi och Jin Laoshi. Båda är väldigt bra. De gjorde upplevelsen väldigt trevlig för mig. De är villiga att hjälpa dig när som helst, så om du någonsin har en fråga här, finns lärarna alltid där för att hjälpa dig, oavsett om det gäller visum eller hur man tar sig runt i staden.
