Nie potrafię opisać, jak bardzo mi się to podobało. W nauczycielach i metodzie nauczania podobało mi się to, że jest tak duża elastyczność. Inną rzeczą, która mi się podobała, było połączenie klasycznej nauki z podręcznika z wyjściem na zewnątrz. Uwielbiałam to! Lubię poznawać innych uczniów. Wszyscy mieli ten sam cel, a mianowicie doskonalenie chińskiego. Kunming to duże miasto, ale jest tu bardzo bezpiecznie. Myślę, że to było cenne doświadczenie. Nie mogę się doczekać powrotu!
Miejsce jest bardzo fajne. Mam świetną grupę w klasie, więc chodzenie na zajęcia to czysta przyjemność. Jest fajnie, dużo rozmawiamy, gramy i bawimy się. Nasi nauczyciele są również bardzo dobrzy i bardzo pomocni. Nauka chińskiego może być na początku onieśmielająca, bo ma się mnóstwo pytań. Wszyscy moi koledzy z klasy są razem przez rok i zrobiliśmy ogromne postępy! Nauczyciele w Keats są wspaniali. Chętnie organizują mnóstwo zajęć, żeby pomóc nam w nauce chińskiego. Lubię Keatsa! Lubię Kunming!
W pierwszym semestrze studiowałem w innej szkole, gdzie presja była dość duża, godziny lekcyjne długie, a prace domowe dość żmudne. Odkąd zacząłem uczęszczać do Keatsa, odkryłem, że mam o wiele więcej okazji do mówienia na zajęciach. Wszyscy moi koledzy z klasy mówią płynnie i uwielbiają mówić i uczestniczyć w zajęciach. Mamy świetną dynamikę w klasie.
Jeśli chodzi o naukę chińskiego tutaj, uważam, że warunki życia są bardzo dogodne, ponieważ akademik jest bardzo blisko sali wykładowej. Nasi nauczyciele naprawdę lubią uczyć chińskiego. Są też bardzo zaangażowani. W porównaniu z innymi miastami w Chinach, Kunming ma naprawdę dobrą pogodę.
Uważam, że panująca tu atmosfera nauki języka chińskiego jest wspaniała. Metody nauczania są bardzo interaktywne i przyjemne. Szczególnie podoba mi się to, że mój nauczyciel nie trzyma się ściśle podręcznika. Spędzamy dużo czasu na dyskusjach na tematy ogólne, takie jak kultura chińska, wiadomości ze świata, typowe wyrażenia używane przez miejscową ludność. Rozmawiamy również o kwestiach społecznych i ekonomicznych.
Dlatego w pierwszym tygodniu w Keats nie odważyłem się wypowiedzieć ani jednego chińskiego słowa. Odkryłem, że mój poziom chińskiego szybko się poprawił od tego czasu. Chociaż mam wiele możliwości nauki w Chinach, na przykład niektóre szkoły oferują zakwaterowanie u rodziny goszczącej, odkryłem, że mogę się w pełni zanurzyć i skupić na nauce chińskiego, zostając w Keats.
