Przyjazd do Kunming z Tajlandii jest bardzo wygodny. Bardzo podobały mi się moje zajęcia z chińskiego, a mój chiński znacznie się poprawił w ciągu kilku miesięcy. Nauka chińskiego przynosi wiele korzyści. Najbardziej podoba mi się w Keats, że znajduje się w Kunming, mieście wiecznej wiosny. W Kunming jest tak wiele do zobaczenia i pokochasz to miasto po przyjeździe.
Przyjeżdżam do Kunming, ponieważ uważam, że atmosfera w Kunming jest lepsza i słyszałem, że szkoła Keatsa jest lepsza. Podoba mi się nauka chińskiego w małych grupach, ponieważ moi koledzy pilnie się uczą, a nasi nauczyciele są bardzo dobrzy. Zanim trafiłem do Keats School, nie byłem pewien swojej znajomości języka chińskiego. Nie miałem pewności siebie, mówiąc po mandaryńsku i rozmawiając z Chińczykami. Jednak po 4 miesiącach nauki w Keats School, nabieram coraz większej pewności siebie w mówieniu po chińsku. Nauka chińskiego w Chinach w Keats School była najlepszą decyzją, jaką kiedykolwiek podjąłem. Na zajęciach jest wiele gier, a metody nauczania mojego nauczyciela są również bardzo interesujące. Moje doświadczenia w Keats School zmieniły moje spojrzenie na Chiny i Chińczyków.
Mam dwóch nauczycieli i pracuję 4 godziny dziennie. Mam więc Dong Laoshi i Jin Laoshi. Oboje są bardzo dobrzy. Sprawili, że to doświadczenie było dla mnie bardzo przyjemne. Są gotowi pomóc w każdej chwili, więc jeśli masz jakieś pytania, nauczyciele zawsze służą pomocą, czy to w sprawie wiz, czy poruszania się po mieście. Wszyscy chcą z tobą rozmawiać.
Nazywam się Sarah Fish. Mam 81 lat. Znałam bardzo mało chińskiego, kiedy przyjechałam. Jak przetrwałabym dwa tygodnie intensywnego kursu chińskiego? Śmieję się, kiedy teraz o tym myślę. Co za pozytywne doświadczenie! Naprawdę chciałabym tu zostać trochę dłużej. Nauczyciele są niezwykle pomocni, najpierw oceniają, ile ktoś umie, a potem od tego zaczynają.
Jedną z rzeczy, które naprawdę mi się podobały, była możliwość współpracy z nauczycielem przy tworzeniu indywidualnego planu nauki. Kolejną zaletą jest to, że mieszka się w szkole, więc czuje się całkowicie bezpiecznie. Zawsze jest grupa osób chętnych do wspólnego spędzania czasu w weekendy lub wieczorami. Serwują wszystkie 3 posiłki dziennie, jedzenie było wyśmienite.
Nauczyciele w Keats wiedzą, jak czytać uczniów i jak pomóc im w łatwej nauce języka chińskiego. Znają poziom uczniów. Uczę się powoli, ale udało im się dostosować do mojego poziomu nauczania. Sprawili, że zajęcia były bardzo przyjemne i ekscytujące. Cieszę się, że nie tylko poznałam kulturę i język, ale także poznałam wspaniałych przyjaciół, naprawdę niesamowitych – Chińczyków, Europejczyków, Amerykanów z całego świata.
