September 1st was the first day of the fall semester 2014 at Keats School. The students of each class came to class on time and successfully had their first Chinese lesson for the fall semester. At the opening ceremony of the fall semester, the teachers met each student and explained the syllabus to the students in details.
The teachers had a chance to test the students’ levels and learning goals, which significantly helped the teachers to choose the most appropriate class for the students. In order to meet the needs of each student, the teachers adjusted their teaching plans and teaching methods.
At Keats, our goal is to help the students learn the most Chinese in the shortest possible time. Therefore, each teacher for the small group classes will strictly follow Keats School’s mission to prepare the lessons and present out students with the most professional Chinese learning experience.
At the opening ceremony, Keats School’s vice-president Joy Huang gave all the students a welcome speech. She also stressed the importance of following the school policy in order to have a smooth and hassle-free life in Kunming. Many students received a gift for a new start of their exciting Chinese learning trip. We also prepared snacks and refreshments for the students while they got familiar with the school environment.
Some students told us that they learned about Keats School many years ago and now they finally had a chance to study at Keats. Famous for the professional teaching and excellent teachers, Keats School attracted students from many countries. We believe that with the help from Keats, all of our students will make noticeable progress and achieve satisfied learning results.
