Cuizhi Luo graduated from Yunnan Normal University in 2014, with a major in Teaching Chinese. Because she loves teaching Chinese, after graduating she has worked at Keats the whole time.
After working at Keats for a short time, she has found that she likes the school very much, as there is a good working environment, all of the other teachers are very nice, and all give her help and advice. When teaching Chinese, she has come across many students, some in small Chinese classes, some one-on-one, and some online, all of who are all very good students. During these classes, she has learned a lot, and became a much better teacher, learning from the students as well as teaching them. After a while with some of her students, she became quite good friends with them.
She thinks every class with her students is a very happy time. She is also very appreciative of the fact that all of her students have given her positive reviews, and all think that she is a great Chinese teacher. Every time her student’s Chinese improves, she is very happy for them. Of course, during teaching she has came across a variety of problems, such as explaining grammar, explaining the difference between some vocabulary, dealing with students of varying Chinese levels, etc. But as all of the teachers in Keats’s research group are all especially experienced, after asking them for help, she was able to quickly resolve these problems, and improve her teaching abilities. She appreciates all the help from Keats School. She mentioned Keats offers a good opportunity for her and help her improve fast as well.
She told us that she is very lucky to be able to do the work she enjoys, and despite running into some problems, preserve, and keep improving. She thanks Keats and all of the teachers who has helped her become a better teacher.
