The Stone Forest is located about 80 miles to the southeast of Kunming. It is one of famous places in Kunming Yunnan. There are many various shapes of rocks in stone forest. The splendor of the Stone Forest is enhanced by the local customs of the native Sani people (who are part of the Yi minority). Sani people are industrious and hospitable——and unconstrained. If you ever visit Kunming, Stone Forest is a must-see place.
