Minulla on kaksi opettajaa, ja teen neljä tuntia päivässä. Minulla on siis Dong Laoshi ja Jin Laoshi. Molemmat ovat erittäin hyviä. He tekivät kokemuksesta erittäin mukavan. He ovat valmiita auttamaan sinua aina, joten jos sinulla on kysyttävää täällä, opettajat ovat aina valmiita auttamaan sinua, olipa kyse viisumeista tai kaupungilla liikkumisesta. Olen todella nauttinut kiinan kielen kurssista Kiinassa Keatsissa ja opettajien ja oppilaiden tapaamisesta täällä. Meillä on todella hauskaa luokassa. Se on todella hieno koulu oppia, jossa on hyvät opetusmenetelmät ja todella hyvä oppikirja, esimerkkejä ja pelejä ja kaikkea.

Toinen todella mukava asia oli se, että asuin koulussa ja tunsin oloni täysin turvalliseksi. Koulun parasta antia oli ohjaajien kärsivällisyys ja aika keskittyä perusasioihin, kuten ääntämiseen. Mielestäni on erittäin helppo ohittaa ne ja siirtyä sanastoon. Mutta ääntämisen oppiminen on mielestäni auttanut minua ymmärtämään kieltä paremmin.
Nautin todella täällä käymisestä, koska tämä on minulle kuin koti. Se on loistava ympäristö oppia mandariinikiinaa Kiinassa ja tavata mahtavia ihmisiä kaikkialta maailmasta. Kaikki täällä ovat erittäin ystävällisiä. Kunmingissa on todella mukava ilmasto. Se on erittäin hyvä sekoitus modernia kaupunkia ja myös paljon historiallista kiinalaista kulttuuria. Siellä on luultavasti Kiinan puhtain ilma ja mahdollisesti myös puhtain vesi. Kutsun sinut opiskelemaan kiinaa Kunmingiin.
Ensimmäisellä lukukaudellani toisessa koulussa paine oli siellä melko kova, luokkatunnit olivat pitkiä ja läksyt melko tylsiä. Keatsiin tultuani olen huomannut, että minulla on paljon enemmän tilaisuuksia puhua luokkahuoneessa. Kaikki luokkatoverini puhuvat sujuvasti ja rakastavat puhumista ja osallistumista tunnille. Meillä on loistava luokkadynamiikka.
Olen jatko-opiskelija, joka tekee tohtorin tutkintoa Columbian yliopistossa. Pystyimme todella keskittymään puhumiseen, erityisesti haastattelutyyliseen puhumiseen, ja pystyimme todella parantamaan kiinan kielen luku- ja kirjoitustaitojani, joten kun palaan Columbiaan, voin osallistua virallisille kiinan kielen kursseille. Se on ollut todella hyvä kokemus ja rakastan todella opettajaani.
Olen ollut Keats Schoolissa ja Kunmingissa nyt kuukauden ajan pitämässä yksityisopetusta kiinaksi kahden eri opettajan kanssa. Nautin siitä todella paljon. Molemmat opettajani ovat erittäin ystävällisiä ja kärsivällisiä. He todella auttoivat minua parantamaan kiinan kielen taitojani, sekä luku- että puhetaitojani. Nautin myös kiinan kielen opiskelusta Kunmingissa. Tämä kaupunki on todella kaunis ja sää on mukava, ilma on puhdas. Se on yksi Kiinan parhaista kaupungeista opiskella kiinaa.
