Tämä on toinen kertani. Viime vuonnakin olin siellä noin 12 viikkoa. Tällä kertaa tulin 13 viikoksi kesäohjelmaan Kiinaan. Syy, miksi haluan erityisesti tulla tähän kouluun, on yksilötunnit. Pystyin nostamaan taitotasoani ja oppimaan kiinaa nopeammin kuin ryhmätunneilla. Jos minulla on mahdollisuus tulla uudelleen ensi vuonna, teen sen varmasti.
Nautin tästä paikasta todella paljon, koska meillä on yksityistunteja mandariinikiinaa. Osallistuin kuuden tunnin ohjelmaan, neljä tuntia aamulla ja kaksi iltapäivällä. Vaikka se on aika paljon, opetus on ilmaista. Tämä on erittäin hyödyllistä, koska pystyin kertaamaan aiemmin tekemäni ja oppimaan uusia asioita. Kaksi opettajaani ovat fantastisia. Ennen Keats Schooliin tuloani minulla ei ollut luottamusta kiinan kielen taitooni. Minulla ei ollut itseluottamusta puhua mandariinikiinaa tai jutella kiinalaisten kanssa. Neljän kuukauden Keats Schoolissa opiskelun jälkeen olen kuitenkin tullut yhä itsevarmemmaksi kiinan kielen puhumisessa. Kiinan opiskelu Kiinassa Keats Schoolissa on ollut paras päätökseni koskaan. Tunneilla on paljon pelejä, ja opettajani opetusmenetelmät ovat myös erittäin mielenkiintoisia. Kokemukseni Keats Schoolissa on muuttanut näkemystäni Kiinasta ja kiinalaisista.
