If you’ve noticed the emblem of the 2008 Olympic Games, you may know it is a Chinese seal. Seal cutting is based on Chinese calligraphy. It takes Chinese characters as its form of expression, using craving knives instead of writing brushes, and stone instead of the paper. It can be viewed as a pocket edition […]

Chopsticks are a wonder of Chinese dining utensils with a history of thousands of years. And it became the most frequently-used utensil in Chinese’s daily life. In ancient China, they were called […]

He järjestävät mielellään paljon aktiviteetteja, jotka auttavat meitä oppimaan kiinaa. Pidän Keatsista! Pidän Kunmingista!
Tämä on toinen kertani. Viime vuonnakin olin siellä noin 12 viikkoa. Tällä kertaa tulin 13 viikoksi kesäohjelmaan Kiinaan. Syy, miksi haluan erityisesti tulla tähän kouluun, on yksilötunnit.
Kunming on loistava paikka oppia kiinaa Kiinassa, koska kadulla harvat kiinalaiset puhuvat englantia. Mielestäni he ovat kaikki ihan hyviä. Opiskelumenetelmä täällä on todella strukturoitu. He tekevät kiinan kielen oppimisesta todella helppoa.
Nimeni on Sarah Fish. Olen 81-vuotias.
