Jmenuji se Sarah Fish. Je mi 81 let. Když jsem přijela, uměla jsem čínsky jen velmi málo. Jak jsem měla přežít dva týdny intenzivního kurzu čínštiny? Teď se musím smát, když na to vzpomenu. Byla to ale pozitivní zkušenost! Opravdu si přeji, abychom tu mohli být o něco déle. Učitelé jsou nesmírně povzbudiví, nejdříve zhodnotí, kolik toho kdo ví, a pak od toho začnou.
Od minulého semestru jsme začali studovat čínštinu na Keats. Byla to nejlepší volba, jakou jsme kdy mohli udělat. Je to opravdu dobrá škola. Hodiny jsou velmi zábavné, hodně se toho naučíte, ale jsou velmi interaktivní, takže si hodně povídáte, což znamená, že to nejsou jen knihy a psaní. Myslím, že tento individuální přístup je opravdu skvělý způsob, jak rychle zvýšit vaši úroveň čínštiny a posílit vaši sebedůvěru a plynulost jazyka.
Učitelé v Keats vědí, jak číst studenty a jak jim pomoci snadno se naučit čínsky. Znají úroveň studentů. Učím se pomalu, ale dokázali se mému učení přizpůsobit. Hodinu udělali velmi zábavnou a vzrušující. Jsem rád, že jsem se nejen naučil kulturu a jazyk, ale také jsem si našel úžasné přátele, opravdu neuvěřitelné, čínské přátele a evropské přátele, americké přátele z celého světa.
Všichni moji učitelé jsou skvělí. Vyškolili je tak profesionálně. Mám pocit, že se s nimi učím velmi rychle. Berou své studenty velmi vážně a vím, že každý učitel je takový. Pokud hledáte nejlepší čínskou školu v Číně, vřele vám doporučuji Keats.
Jsem postgraduální studentka a pracuji na doktorátu na Kolumbijské univerzitě.
