Od minulého semestru jsme začali studovat čínštinu na Keats. Byla to nejlepší volba, jakou jsme kdy mohli udělat. Je to opravdu dobrá škola. Hodiny jsou velmi zábavné, hodně se toho naučíte, ale jsou velmi interaktivní, takže si hodně povídáte, což znamená, že to nejsou jen knihy a psaní. Kunming je opravdu příjemné město k životu, zvláště ve srovnání s jinými městy na východě. Pokud rádi cestujete, pokud se rádi učíte čínštinu zábavnou formou, Keats má pro vás nejlepší čínský jazykový program.
Jsem postgraduální studentka a pracuji na doktorátu na Kolumbijské univerzitě. Je to tam super. Jsem ve třídě se skvělou skupinou lidí, takže chodit na hodiny je moc příjemné. Je to zábava, máme spoustu diskusí, her a aktivit. Naši učitelé jsou také moc dobří a velmi nás podporují. Učení se čínštiny je ze začátku děsivé, protože máte tolik otázek. Ale doporučila bych vám jít do Keats, protože atmosféra pro učení je skvělá. Je to velmi relaxační. Školu bych doporučila.
Než jsem nastoupil do Keats School, nebyl jsem si jistý svou znalostí čínštiny. Neměl jsem sebevědomí mluvit mandarínskou čínštinou a povídat si s Číňany. Nicméně po 4 měsících studia na Keats School si nyní čínštinu stále více uvědomuji. Studium čínštiny v Číně na Keats School bylo nejlepší rozhodnutí, jaké jsem kdy udělal. Ve třídě je mnoho her a metody výuky mého učitele jsou také velmi zajímavé. Moje zkušenost na Keats School změnila můj pohled na Čínu a Číňany.
