Jedna věc, která se mi opravdu líbila, byla možnost spolupracovat se svým učitelem na vytvoření individuálního studijního plánu. Další opravdu příjemná věc je, že bydlíte ve škole, cítíte se naprosto bezpečně. Vždycky máte skupinu lidí, kteří jsou ochotni s vámi něco dělat o víkendech nebo večer. Podávají vám všechna 3 jídla denně, jídlo bylo vynikající.
Nejlepší na škole je trpělivost instruktorů a čas, který jim umožnil soustředit se na základy, jako je výslovnost. Myslím, že je velmi snadné je přeskočit a věnovat se slovní zásobě. Ale mám pocit, že naučení se výslovnosti mi pomohlo lépe porozumět jazyku.
Kurz čínštiny v Číně na Keats College se mi moc líbil a setkal jsem se s učiteli i se studenty. Ve třídě se hodně bavíme. Je to opravdu skvělá škola s dobrými výukovými metodami a opravdu dobrou učebnicí, příklady a hrami a vším možným.
Takže během mého prvního týdne v Keats jsem se neodvážil promluvit ani slovo čínsky. Zjistil jsem, že se moje úroveň čínštiny od té doby rychle zlepšila. Přestože mám v Číně mnoho možností studia, například některé jiné školy nabízejí ubytování v rodinách, zjistil jsem, že se pobytem v Keats můžu plně ponořit do učení čínštiny a soustředit se na něj.

Jsem postgraduální studentka a pracuji na doktorátu na Kolumbijské univerzitě. Mají kavárnu a nové učebny, teď tu je i nová společenská místnost, takže si můžete odpočinout s přáteli a procvičit si mluvenou čínštinu s rodilými mluvčími. Pokud uvažujete o tom, že byste jeli studovat do Keats, opravdu bych to doporučil. Je to nejlepší místo pro učení se mandarínštiny a myslím, že to pro vás bude skvělý zážitek.
