هذه هي زيارتي الثانية. في العام الماضي، حضرتُ لمدة 12 أسبوعًا تقريبًا. أما هذه المرة، فقد حضرتُ لمدة 13 أسبوعًا ضمن برنامج صيفي في الصين. السبب الرئيسي الذي دفعني لاختيار هذه المدرسة تحديدًا هو الدروس الفردية. فقد تمكنتُ من رفع مستواي وتعلم اللغة الصينية بسرعة أكبر من الدروس الجماعية. إذا سنحت لي الفرصة للحضور مرة أخرى العام المقبل، فسأفعل ذلك بكل تأكيد.
لقد التحقت بمدرسة كيتس لتعلم اللغة الصينية أربع مرات حتى الآن. والسبب الرئيسي لعودتي إلى هذه المدرسة هو جودة معلميها. أخطط للعودة إليها على مدى خمس أو حتى عشر سنوات. يمتلك جميع المعلمين أساليب فعّالة لتقييم مهارات الطلاب، فهم على دراية تامة بمستواهم. أعتقد أن هذه المدرسة مفيدة للجميع.
قبل التحاقي بمدرسة كيتس، لم أكن أثق بمستوى إتقاني للغة الصينية. لم أكن أملك الثقة الكافية للتحدث باللغة الصينية الفصحى والتواصل مع الصينيين. ولكن بعد أربعة أشهر من الدراسة في كيتس، أصبحت أكثر ثقةً في التحدث باللغة الصينية. لقد كان قرار دراسة اللغة الصينية في الصين، وتحديدًا في مدرسة كيتس، أفضل قرار اتخذته في حياتي. تزخر الحصص الدراسية بالألعاب، كما أن أساليب تدريس معلمي شيقة للغاية. لقد غيّرت تجربتي في مدرسة كيتس نظرتي إلى الصين والشعب الصيني.
لا يهم مستوى لغتك الصينية، حتى لو كنت مبتدئًا تمامًا. سيُعدّ معلمك الدروس وفقًا لاحتياجاتك. من مزايا الإقامة في المدرسة أنك ستحصل على دروس خصوصية، وسكن خاص مع حمام خاص، وجميع الوجبات مُقدمة. أنصح الجميع بشدة بالاشتراك في البرنامج الكامل لتتعرف على طلاب آخرين.
اسمي سارة فيش، عمري ٨١ عامًا. لم أكن أعرف الكثير من اللغة الصينية عندما وصلت. كيف لي أن أتحمل أسبوعين من دورة اللغة الصينية المكثفة؟ أضحك عندما أتذكر ذلك الآن. يا لها من تجربة رائعة! أتمنى لو استطعنا البقاء هنا لفترة أطول. المعلمون مُشجعون للغاية، إذ يُقيّمون أولًا مستوى معرفة الطالب، ثم ينطلقون من تلك النقطة.
خلال أسبوعي الأول في كيتس، لم أجرؤ على التحدث بأي كلمة صينية. لكنني لاحظت تحسناً سريعاً في مستواي في اللغة الصينية منذ ذلك الحين. مع أن لديّ خيارات عديدة للدراسة في الصين، كبعض المدارس التي توفر الإقامة مع عائلات صينية، إلا أنني وجدت في كيتس أنني أستطيع الانغماس في اللغة الصينية والتركيز عليها بشكل كامل.
لديّ معلمان، وأدرس أربع ساعات يوميًا. أدرس مع دونغ لاوشي وجين لاوشي. كلاهما ممتازين، وقد جعلا التجربة ممتعة للغاية. هما على استعداد للمساعدة في أي وقت، فإذا كان لديك أي سؤال، ستجد المعلمين دائمًا على أهبة الاستعداد لمساعدتك، سواءً كان الأمر يتعلق بالتأشيرات أو التنقل في المدينة. الجميع يرغب بالتحدث إليك.
أستمتع حقًا بهذا المكان لأننا نتلقى دروسًا خاصة في اللغة الصينية. التحقتُ بالبرنامج الذي يمتد لست ساعات، أربع ساعات صباحًا وساعتين عصرًا. على الرغم من أن البرنامج طويل نوعًا ما، إلا أن التدريس فيه متكامل. وهذا مفيد جدًا لأنه يُتيح لي مراجعة ما تعلمته سابقًا وتعلم أشياء جديدة. مُعلماي رائعان. نسكن في نفس مبنى المدرسة، مما يُسهّل الأمر علينا. ومن المثير للاهتمام بالنسبة لي مقابلة أشخاص من مختلف أنحاء العالم.
